Firth Primary School is a primary school in Matamata, New Zealand. The school has 9 classrooms plus a well equipped library, an assembly hall and two playgrounds(one senior and one junior). Newsletters are sent out to parents each week on a Thursday. The school principal is currently Mr James Eldridge. The school is a decile 3 and 212 students attend. As of 2007, (last ERO report) there were 15 teachers, with 51% of students being boys and 49% girls. The approximate ethnic composition is 60% NZ Pakeha/NZ European, 31% NZ Maori, 9% European and 3% Pacific.
